1. Count full years
Take the current year minus birth year. Subtract 1 if the birthday hasn't occurred yet this calendar year.

2. Count remaining months
From the last birthday, count how many complete months have passed up to today.
Mar → Nov = 8 months
3. Count remaining days
From the last whole month boundary, count the leftover days.
15th → 21st = 6 days
